What is competitive swimming?
Competitive swimming involves organized races in pools (or open water), with swimmers competing individually or as part of a team. Competitive swim teams swim year round as part of a club.
What age can kids start swimming club?
Kids can start swimming as early as age 5, but many children start around 9-10. It’s important to find a club that provides age-appropriate training, community and philosophy that aligns with your family.
